Client Stories
Real Work. Real Results.
Three engagements, three different services, one standard: every claim below is true, specific, and confirmed by the client or the public record.
A CSR programme that outlasted a trust crisis
The moment
Mercedes-Benz Hellas came to Enable Good in 2022, when generosity itself had become a liability. High-profile NGO scandals had just broken across Greece, and public trust in charitable giving collapsed almost overnight. Corporate social budgets froze, not out of indifference but out of fear: one compromised partner could turn an act of goodwill into a front-page disaster.
The ask
Build their CSR policy from the ground up, and find trustworthy NGO partners and causes that aligned with the heart of the company.
What we did
Enable Good designed the CSR policy and then did the work most advisors skip: deep vetting of candidate NGOs, their governance, their finances, and their real outcomes, before any introduction was made. Only partners that passed became partners.
The result
Three collaborations, each with a verified and trusted partner, launched in a season when most corporate giving in Greece had gone silent. In 2023 those collaborations hardened into a structured programme inside the company, and it runs to this day. That is the distance between a donation and a policy: one ends when the cheque clears; the other compounds, year after year.
A Silver Medal on their first EcoVadis assessment
The ask
HELLAGRO S.A. had never been through an EcoVadis assessment. Their corporate customers increasingly expected a rating, and they wanted to get it right the first time.
What we did
Over 2025 and 2026, Enable Good managed the certification journey end to end: mapping what EcoVadis expects from a company of Hellagro's size and sector, building the evidence base across all four themes (environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement), and constructing a submission where every claim had a document behind it.
The result
On their very first assessment, HELLAGRO S.A. was awarded the EcoVadis Silver Medal, placing them among the top 15% of companies assessed globally. No warm-up round, no learning from a first failure. First attempt, Silver.
What changed
EcoVadis exists because large buyers now screen suppliers on sustainability. In Hellagro's own words, the medal acts as an independent validation for partners selecting suppliers. In practice, the Silver Medal protected the customer relationships Hellagro already had and strengthened their hand in winning new ones. Sustainability stopped being a questionnaire to survive and became a commercial credential.
Thirty years of care, translated into one number
The ask
Mazi gia to Paidi, the alliance of Greek children's charities, was approaching its 30th anniversary. Three decades of work for children deserved more than a birthday: it deserved proof. They came to Enable Good to measure their impact with a Social Return on Investment report.
What we did
A full SROI study following the Social Value International methodology: mapping stakeholders, tracing what actually changed in children's and families' lives, valuing those outcomes with defensible financial proxies, and honestly subtracting what would have happened anyway. Every number in the final report can be traced back to its source.
The result
The report found a social return ratio of 7.7 to 1: for every euro invested in the organisation, the NGO generates value equivalent to 7.7 euros for the children and families that it serves. One number that translates thirty years of care into the language funders, boards, and the public immediately understand.
What changed
The report gave the organisation what appeals alone never could: credible results, expressed in monetary value, for the work it does. Funders could finally see what their support produces, and the organisation raised more money for its causes as a result.
Your organisation could be the next story.
Whether you need a CSR programme that survives scrutiny, an EcoVadis medal your customers will trust, or a SROI report your funders will believe, the first step is a conversation.
